For almost two decades the Learning Center has provided a warm, supportive, and encouraging atmosphere for children to learn. In addition, Booker T. welcomes parents to share concerns, obtain help with personal and family problems, become involved in their children's education, and further their own learning. The Learning Center's programs focus on education, since education has a positive influence on a person's values, self-esteem, and ambition.

Our Community of East Harlem faces many challenges which our programs have been developed to address. For more information about these problems, please see our Community Challenges page.
