After sixteen years as a volunteer and a staff member, Rev. Kimberly Wright was elected to become the Executive Director of the East Harlem Churches and Community Urban Center. She has held positions as tutor, teacher, program director, and assistant executive director. With a background in counseling, teaching and management, she is well suited for the challenges of expanding and developing Booker T. A thirty-two year resident of East Harlem, Rev. Wright is familiar with and loves the community. As she and her husband raise their four children here, she looks forward to seeing the community transformed for future generations.
