Ancestor’s Night

Place: Booker T. Washington Learning Center – 1st floor
Come one...come all....watch our children showcase their talents and hard work. After several weeks of preparation, research and lessons, the kids will be ready to perform. Paying tribute to African-American musicians from the Jazz, Ragtime and Blues genres, you will see solo presentations, skits, dance tributes and songs. Please join us!! No matter what your background, everyone can celebrate the importance of Ancestor’s Night. Find a way to commemorate those achievements that affect your everyday life, whether it's through art, film, literature, music, education, civil rights, sports or even food!
