A donation to the Booker T. Washington Learning Center makes a real difference in the lives of children and adults in East Harlem.
- $50 can buy a child books and after school materials
- $100 can provide snack for a child for one month
- $250 can send a college bound student on a college tour
- $500 can send an adult to a GED class
- $750 can send a child to summer camp for 7 weeks
- $1,000 can provide updated computer software
- $5,000 can secure a seat in our after school program for the year
- $1500 offers an adult computer training skills
- $10,000 pays for 8-10 children to go to Aspen for a summer and winter experience. (Aspen Youth Experience : www.ayexp.org)
- $25,000 pays for 1 year of educational supplies for all of our programs.
