Coordinator of Special Projects Eboni Hogan was welcomed into the Booker T. family in December 2007. Since attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, she has been teaching performance workshops in theatre, spoken word poetry and movement, through out the U.S. as well as internationally in Ghana, West Africa. She is a published poet and has written articles with the Girl Scouts of America’s online series. Since 2005, she has been active in the workshopping and development of NYU’s hip hop theatre initiative, led by Professor Dr. Daniel Banks, which is currently being reviewed by the board of Tisch School of the Arts for inclusion into the general theatre curriculum there. Currently, Eboni is working as the assistant to the Executive Director, but will be developing an arts program that will be reinstated when the new building on 101^st opens its doors.
